The Collection A reference library only, the collection contains Florida and Federal Statutes, codes, rules of procedure, court opinions, law reviews, legal encyclopedias and digests, criminal and appellate practice and procedure, treatises on debtor and creditor relations, torts/negligence, bankruptcy, immigration, automobile insurance law, probate and guardianship, and civil and criminal jury instructions. There is also a ‘ready reference’ section of self-help legal guides for ‘pro se’ litigants. *The collection is cataloged and maintained by the Alachua County Library District and can be searched in its online catalog at: http://acld.lib.fl.us
Our self-help collection includes topics such as:
*Pro se litigants are nonlawyers who represent themselves in a legal matter. In other words, they act as their own attorney. Pro se litigation can involve extensive research and can be time consuming.
